vCards — also known as VCFs — are the most common electronic business cards available in the digital world. So common that, sooner than you think, you may start losing track of how many cards do you have and where they are. VCF to TXT Converter is an easy and straightforward way to create your own TXT-based vCard agenda to carry all your contacts with you in a searchable and portable way.
User interfaces do not come simpler than this. The program’s main and only window lets you load as many vCards as needed from VCF files, asks you which encoding you wish to use — UTF-8 or -16 or just ANSI — if you wish to sort and add headers to them, and an ‘Export to File’ button that performs all its magic in a few seconds.
The resulting TXT, XLS (Excel), or comma-separated values file (CSV) will contain all the fields present in the vCards in a simple yet extremely convenient layout — i.e., person’s name and address, phone numbers, website, organization they work for, e-mail addresses, and whatever other fields and notes they may contain. From there, you can easily turn your ‘vCard agenda’ into other document types that you may find more convenient (DOCX, PDF, etc.).
You can check it for yourself using the trial version of the program for free. It will convert any number of vCards, though it will allow you export but a limited number of vCards to the format of your choice — bulky sets will require you to pay a license if you want to export and keep the resulting file and use it for commercial purposes.
